Intility selects Bulk Data Centers to support redesign of core data center platform

(Oslo, 9 March 2022) Intility, a leading Nordic IT Services provider, has chosen Bulk Data Centers as their partner to support the company's hybrid strategy, combining data center platforms and public cloud services. Intility will be based at Bulk’s OS-IX data center in Oslo, the most connected data center in Norway, with over 60 carriers present, giving customers the flexibility to make their data available across the globe.

Intility handles the IT needs of more than 600 companies across 2,000 locations in Norway and the rest of the world. The customer list includes some of Norway's most demanding and security-conscious companies, including Norges Bank and Elvia.

'We need to be thorough when we choose partners because we make the choice on behalf of hundreds of customers. We look in particular at security, but also sustainability, connectivity, compliance and certifications. Bulk was a natural choice', said Erfan Mohammadi, Head of Cloud Infrastructure at Intility.

'We view Intility's choice as a vote of confidence and look forward to our collaboration. Their customer list is evidence of their ability to deliver on what they promise, and the importance they put on sustainability in data center operations is an excellent match with Bulk', says Gisle M. Eckhoff, Head of Bulk Data Centers.

Intility's collaboration with Bulk is part of a comprehensive redesign of the company's data center platform architecture. This includes expanding and establishing presence on multiple sites. In this way, Intility can deliver an even better technology platform with higher functionality and availability for customers.

'The most professional companies are now utilising cloud solutions while also taking advantage of the benefits gained through data center platforms. Intility has chosen such a hybrid strategy, and thus demonstrates a position at the forefront of their industry', says Kristian Kofoed-Solheim, Nordic Sales Director at Bulk Data Centers.
