The Havfrue transatlantic subsea fiber system connects the USA and Denmark, with branches to Ireland and Norway. Havfrue unlocks the Nordic region’s low-cost, renewable energy for use in sustainable data centers, as well as creating new routes to Nordic and European markets. Bulk is a co-builder of the system and sole owner of the Norwegian branch. Our product offering on Havfrue consists of high capacity, scalable spectrum services.

The Inter-City Ring terrestrial fiber system connects four of Norway’s largest cities: Oslo, Kristiansand, Stavanger, and Bergen. The Skagerrak 4 subsea system directly connects Bulk N01 Campus to the Northern tip of Denmark. It provides the largest fiber capacity currently installed between Norway and Denmark.

Bulk provides dark fiber for the subsea system and tele-housing for the terrestrial network in Norway and Denmark.

Interlinking scalability and connectivity

The Havsil cable will be the shortest route connecting Norway to continental Europe, improving diversity by avoiding the traditional fiber routes. The subsea cable system is an unrepeated, high capacity, express route between our data center campuses N01 in Kristiansand and DK01 in Esbjerg.
